Over the years I have used some great and some not so great crochet supplies. I thought it might be useful to include a list of some of my favorites. I’ll keep a running list under the About page in the Things I Love link.
My Favorite Crochet Supplies
Vanna’s Choice YarnThis is my favorite acrylic yarn, which I use most often as I don’t like to use animal fibers. Vanna’s Choice is some of the softest acrylic yarn out there and it rarely splits, plus it is reasonably priced.
Clover Crochet HooksI am still building my hook collection of these babies, they are a little pricey, but they are definitely worth it. They have a rubber grip that really helps take the pressure off of your hands while you are crocheting.
Stitch MarkersI make my own, because they are so simple and cheap to make. And, if you wait a few weeks I’ll be posting a little How To tutorial on making your very own set. But if you can’t wait, these ones from Clover will do the trick.
Yarn NeedlesI go back and forth between the plastic and the metal needles. I like them both and use them both, so I can’t really decide which is better.
Clover 336 Knitting Counter Kacha-KachaThis one is the only one I have used, but I love it so much I’ve never needed to try another one. It is perfect for when you are crocheting a large blanket or something where you might need to put your project down for awhile.
Chicken Boots USA Yarn Bag
My house is full of makeshift yarn bags, which tells you just how many Works in Progress (WIP)s I have going at one time! But my absolute favorite legit craft bag is from Chicken Boots USA. I use their double double bag, which holds quite a bit of supplies. I highly recommend checking out their website. Plus their fabric patterns are super cute!
